In our ongoing plan to improve our sustainability, the Lanolips Basic Balm tubes are made from 100% post-consumer-recycled material. Our boxes are printed using soy-bean and vegetable-based inks. Great lip balm

Smells great and glides on really easily! Not as moisturising as the 101 multipurpose balm though

Most nourishing stick formula ever!

I have recently picked up the basic balms from Superdrug in Coconutter and Vanilla and I'm so happy I did. I have been a long-time fan of the 101 ointment but sometimes I prefer a stick formula for easier application on the go. None that I've ever tried provide as much hydration and nourishment as these. I absolutely love them and hope Lanolips decides to expand this offering to other countries as I believe they would sell quite well. Please also never discontinue!

Disappointing

The main reason I got into lanolips was due to their lip products mostly not containing beeswax which I am allergic to, was super excited to try this new release until I saw the ingredients included beeswax. Its very hard finding effective lipbalms that dont contain this ingredient so I hope the next stick product doesn’t include this.

5 Stars! Love the smell, and so soft!

I would definitely give the Basic Balm a 5-star review. They have an amazing smell and I feel like they hydrate for a long while, even after having a drink. What I especially love about this product is that they are not too sticky at all, and have the perfect consistency for my lips. I would definitely recommend it because of its high quality which you can feel while using the product, and also because I love the scents. They have strong scents but not too strong so they don't overpower or make you stand out. I also really like that you can't really tell that you have it on, so it blends in, but at the same time makes my lips look soft and professional.

A staple in my bag

I have been using Lanolips products for quite some time, so I believe I have a good understanding of their performance as well as differences among them. Basic Balm reminds me of the Original Lanostick. The Original Lanostick still feels slightly more nourishing; however the difference is only marginal and considering the Basic Balm is considerably cheaper, it will be a winner for me. I do like the fact that the balm sinks into the lips rather than sitting on top of them (which is the experience I have had with many lip balms from drugstores). As it is a lip balm, it will not stay on your lips the whole day; but the staying power is surprisingly good and will survive at least couple of hours (including drinking from glass / bottle). And even when the lip balm is gone, I still felt that my lips were hydrated enough. In terms of the flavours, they tend to be similar to the other Lanolips products and my personal preference is the Vanilla and the Coconutter. I would definitely recommend the Basic Balm to everybody who is looking for a good quality, yet affordable lip balm. It will definitely be a staple in my purse
